ABOUT LISA REPPETO

Lisa has been a certified mediator since 2018 and has served on the Mississippi Bar Executive Committees for the Real Estate Section and the ADR Section. She co-chaired mediator training and recertification CLEs from 2023 to 2025 — helping to shape the next generation of neutral professionals in Mississippi.

Lisa is an experienced litigator in a broad range of disputes, including:

- Product liability, premises liability, and personal injury

- Estate disputes

- Consumer transactions

- Predatory lending

- Intra-corporate disputes

- Breach of fiduciary duty

- Commercial and transactional litigation

- Permitting and regulatory appeals

- Section 1983 and Mississippi Tort Claims Act litigation

- Zoning and land use

- Real estate disputes

- Eminent domain

- Constitutional litigation

- Appellate practice

Lisa’s experience goes beyond the courtroom. Before law school, she gained significant business experience as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent and served as Director of Environmental Services for a Gulf Coast hospital. This practical, real-world perspective helps her understand the commercial and personal interests behind every dispute.

Lisa’s approach is grounded in preparation, neutrality, and persistence. As she wrote in her 2023 article for the Mississippi Lawyer, “Missed Opportunity: Don’t Let Lack of Preparation Undermine Your Mediation,” she believes that thorough preparation is the cornerstone of a successful mediation. Parties can expect a mediator who:

- Reviews all materials carefully before the session

- Listens actively to understand each side’s core interests

- Facilitates candid, productive dialogue

- Uses her litigation background to test assumptions and reality-check positions

- Works tirelessly to find common ground

As an arbitrator, she will carefully consider and analyze the law and the evidence to reach a decision that is fair to all parties.
